This notice is being published in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.204 requiring the dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to issue a competitive solicitation, as a 100% set aside for small business, for an Emergency Notification System overhaul at DTRA Travis Air Force Base. The objective for the effort will be to replace discontinued and outdated equipment which is not compliant with current DoD, Air Force, and Agency requirements. The proposed solicitation will call for all legacy public address system hardware and equipment to be uninstalled and removed and replaced with a compliant Emergency Notification System satisfying regulatory requirements. DTRA will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parites in responding to this notice. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential providers as a result of this presolicitation notice. The anticipated date for release of the commercial item solicitation is August 30, 2017.
