The Olympic National Forest intend to acquire by contract 100 stand exams, with an optional 157 stand exams. The project stands are located within the Snow Creek and Jimmy Come Lately Creek watersheds in the northeast corner of the Olympic Peninsula, Washington. Contract performance period is from Sept. 01, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2018. Service Contract Labor Standards (formerly known as the Service Contract Act of 1965) wage rates, apply. Project Manager is Mr. Mark Senger, 360-956-2358. The Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) on, or about, AUG. 25, 2017. Solicitation will result in a single award for a fixed price contract. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Offerors will be evaluated on the basis of: (1) price; (2) experience; and (3) past performance. Combined experience and past performance are as importance as price. Contract award will be to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by contacting askSAM@gsa.gov, or via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov. For additional information contact Miley Sutherland, Contracting Officer at 360-956-2471, and Mr. Mark Senger, 360-956-2358.
