Description

This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size relative to NAICS 335313, Standard Size 1,250 Employees. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. Scope of Work The CAVHS owns and uses the proprietary PowerLogic ION Enterprise 6.0 System to monitor electrical current distribution to all buildings at the North Little Rock Campus. The vendor must also provide a service and maintenance agreement which will include adjusting, repairs, and replacing any malfunctioning equipment. Response to this notice should include a capability statement, and three (3) customer references to which you have provided similar services. All interested firms shall provide the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, capability statement, and business size pursuant to the NAICS Code 335313, Standard Size 1,250 Employees. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Jacqueline.Simpson3@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than Monday, August 28, 2017 at 12pm CST. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. STATEMENT OF WORK BACKGROUND: The CAVHS owns and uses the proprietary PowerLogic ION Enterprise 6.0 System to monitor the electrical parameters for electrical current distribution at certain buildings at the North Little Rock Campus. Those buildings served include: Building 169 - 13.8Kv dual feed service (9 circuit Breakers) Building 102 4 - 480V circuit breakers Building 170 5 480V circuit breakers The system software will not boot up on the local CPU and touch screen, CAVHS requires troubleshooting and repair services to restore system configuration and return the system to operation. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The scope of work for this repair will include: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and software to evaluate and troubleshoot system operation required to perform the troubleshooting and repair of the system. Following the repair, the contractor will verify to CAVHS electrical technicians the system is functioning IAW OEM specifications. EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD: The LPTA evaluation process will be accomplished as follows: Technical Acceptability. Each offeror s technical quotations will be evaluated to determine if the offeror provides a sound, compliant approach that meets the requirements of the Government. Price Quotations: The offerors Price quotations will be evaluated by CLIN Level and the offerors with the lowest overall Price will be ranked accordingly. CONTRACT TYPE: Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) SECURITY: None. Contractor technicians will be escorted by CAVHS electrical technicians during the troubleshooting and repair.
