The contractor shall furnish all labor, facilities, parts, materials, equipment, tools and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the Upgrade/Repair of the following asset: NOMENCLATURE: Control Unit, Supervisory INPUT NSN: 2995-01-521-0520 OUTPUT NSN: 2995-01-642-2307 INPUT P/N: 5078T29G06 OUTPUT P/N: 5078T29G14 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 80 each - Maximum 276 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 46 each) INPUT NSN: 2995-01-530-2353 OUTPUT NSN: 2995-01-642-7525 INPUT P/N: 5078T29G10 OUTPUT P/N: 5078T29G17 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 10 each - Maximum 60 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 10 each) The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, firm fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul type contract, with minimum/maximum quantities listed above. These items are commercial; FAR Part 12 will be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin. Technical data is not available to support a full and open competitive solicitation. The upgrade/repair shall be accomplished in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer overhaul/repair specifications and drawings. There is no adequate Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) for this effort. Therefore, this requirement cannot support a competitive solicitation. A Product Verification Audit PVA is required. The Supervisory Control Unit is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The only approved source for this requirement is BAE Systems Controls, Inc. (CAGE Code: 63760). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocates Shopping List procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casl_cmo_home. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Requests for the solicitation shall be by mail. You may mail your request to Zenita Dale, CCAMALM, Building 5303, 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000. Email requests should be sent to zenita.n.dale.civ@mail.mil. Proposals can be hand-carried, mailed via the US Postal Service, or delivered by a commercial delivery service. No FAX or email responses shall be accepted for the initial proposal. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
