The following are vendor questions and the Government's responses: QUESTION: If the agency makes a bid, can the bid be for only certain counties, or must all counties be covered? ANSWER: Page 9 of the solicitation states: "Offerors will provide a list of primary and secondary counties from the Durham catchment area above they can provide services. . . ". QUESTION: Regarding Solicitation Number VA-246-08-RP-0011, do we have to be accredited or Medicare certified? In our case we are not, but we do have a North Carolina Home Care Agency License. Is this enough? ANSWER: Page 15 of the solicitation states: "(a) Contracted agency shall maintain Joint Commission or Community Health Accreditation Programs (CHAP) accreditation, or at least Medicare/State certification, and day-to-day compliance with current standards for Home Care. Proof of accreditation shall be furnished to the CO and COTR. (b) Contracted agency shall maintain current Medicare and Medicaid certifications, and current State License. Proof of certifications and licensure shall be furnished to the CO and COTR. . .".
