Description

The Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo, New York intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract to Fluid Power Service Corporation, 4474 Walden Avenue, Lancaster, NY 14086 a Division of Airline Hydraulics Corporation (CAGE Code: 04962) 3557 Progress Drive, Bensalem, PA, 19020-5807 to provide diagnostic services and make recommendations for repairs, replacements, and other system changes as needed to restore proper functioning of the crane hydraulic power system. The Funds From Operations (FFO) has a single vendor that performed the installation of the system, and their staff provided service for the system over the ensuing 26 years. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302.1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP).
