The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date of quotes to 21 August 2017 at 10 am. The reason for the extension is that the Government has unanswered questions from interested parties. All questions and answers received will be posted to FBO.gov by the close The US Army Corps of Engineers - Portland District is soliciting a Request for Quotes (RFQ) that will require a contractor to develop a cultural resource background research document. The work will consist of background research, literature review, and historic documentation of 24 placement sites within the Lower Columbia River corridor from the mouth of the Columbia River to Portland, OR, river miles 3-106.5. In addition, it is also the goal to have a better understanding of the submerged archaeological and historic resources in the river that could be impacted by dredging or in-water placement of dredge material. The period of performance shall be 245 days after award. The solicitation and one amendment are posted. Quoters must ensure registration in the System for Award Management database at https://www.sam.gov prior to any contract award.
