Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of sources who can provide the Mobile Concepts 35iSprinkler firehouse safety trailer or the equivalent. The minimum requirements are as follows: 1. Trailer must come with a kitchen stage room capable of demonstrating life like oven and stove-top fire simulations and have automatic special effects including lights, sound and smoke. 2. The trailer must have an LED monitor at least 37" or larger and a surround sound system w/speakers for presentations and training videos with touchscreen pad controls all special effects, video content. 3. The trailer must come with a sprinkler activation room that is viewable from the exterior for demonstrating the effects a residential sprinkler system has on extinguishing house fire in the incipient stage. 4. The trailer must have the capability to accommodate seamless fire prevention graphics wrap on the exterior. 5. The trailer must have at least one large window (72" x72") window on each side of sprinkler activation room for exterior viewing of the live fire in sprinkler activation room. 6. The trailer must be Wi-Fi enabled for controlling simulations during fire prevention briefings and have plug and play rack mounted component 7. Trailer must have Interior wall finish that is fire-rated high definition laminate certified by GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification Programs. The trailer also must have a high volume ventilation system. 8. The trailer must come with the following training materials: •Fire safety & home escape (E.D.I.T.H.) video content developed by credible sources for age groups: Pre-K to K; 1st to 3rd; 4th to 6th •Severe weather training video content for all ages •Corresponding question & answer video program 10 student response clickers so instructor can visually assess the understanding of the audience. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain information from interested sources capable of meeting this requirement. Interested sources shall provide the following information: (a) Firms INFORMATION [name, address, phone number, CAGE code]; (b) STATUS (i.e. Large Business, Small Business, 8(a), SDVO, etc.) (c) QUOTE TYPE (Open Market or Federal Supply Schedule) (c) PRODUCT DESCRIPTION interested sources should provide a description of the type of trailer they have to offer. The description should detail how the trailer is the same or similar to the requirements listed above. This request for information (RFI) notice is issued for planning purposes. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and an acquisition strategy. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, or pay for any proposal preparation costs. Note: It is highly recommended that prospective contractors be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database as registration is required for the contract awardee. Registration requires applicants to have a Commercial and Government Entry Code (CAGE) and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number from Dun and Bradstreet. Registration usually takes up to five (5) days to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to prevent any delays.
