CANCELLATION NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is DESFES1706 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 2005-95 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2017-03-27 12:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Fort Drum, NY 13602 The MICC End User requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Wild Land Brush Firefighting Truck. Truck must contain the following specification: 1 ton chassis, full crew cab,4x4, gas engine, off road tires, color is red, power windows/locks, AC/heat, high idle switch, vinyl seats, automatic transmission, long bed, cab lights, radio, upfitter switches. 200 amp alternator, electric brake controller, upgraded battery, roll bar protection cage, front brush guard bumper with 15k lb winch, 4in nerf bars, underbody skid plate, super single wheel conversion, Fire fighting equipment on the truck must contain: Poly pro 300 gallon water tank rectangular design bucket fill hinged door at the front and 4in overflow through the floor, tank will have a refill line provided in the center of the rear wall 18" from the floor and a 2 wide poly striped installed on the passenger side for water level sighting, CL V hitched installed on truck, pump will be a Hale HPX200 B23 with 23hp gas engine brand or equal pump must be able to run off vehicle gas tank, will contain 2 booster Hannay LT/RT reels brand or equal mounted at the rear with electric rewind, aluminum sheet hose storage tray, two compartments made of diamond plate and be vented with LED lights and ROM roll up doors with door open warning lights wired to the dash of the truck, two diamond plate compartments installed in front and in back of both tires on both sides with LED lights and door open warning lights, two under reel compartments will have fold down diamond plate doors must be vented, fold down step located above the hitch,7 prong trailer plug pre-wired, back up alarm kit, console in truck will be powder coated black mounted between two front seets and hold siren control and radio equipment, a 12 vole 350 electronic relay tied into the ignition circuit of the truck to separate OEM electrical when the key is switched off, 55" Whelen Freedom LED light bar brand or equivalent installed with clear lenses with two take down lights and two alley lights with brush guard installed to protect the light, two whelen brand or equal grill lights, two whelen M6 brand or equal side light, 4 underbody LED lights, triple cluster whelen 700 brand or equal rear light and mounted in own box, 4 whelen M6 brand or equal scene lughts with own switch in cab, shoreline 110v auto charge on board charger with auto eject, 5" white reflective stripe along sides, chevron alternating striping located on the rear facing vertical colors read and yellow fluorescent yellow diamond grade 6" width, Quote must remain valid for 90 days., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC End User intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC End User is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agencys ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
