Military Sealift Command intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for eligible vendors to provide MSC ships with worldwide services and supplies for shipboard fixed and portable firefighting system. These services will likely include inspection, certification, and repair of the ships firefighting systems/equipment for MSC vessels berthed at Government owned or Government furnished piers or while the vessel is underway in the Continental United States (CONUS) locations and outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations. All work shall be performed on site, in one service call, and by a team of qualified technicians. •a. Unit of issue: Each •b. Destination information: Various locations CONUS and OCONUS •c. Duration of the contract period: Base and four one year option periods •d. Procedures: This procurement is a FAR Part 12 acquisition being conducted using the procedures in FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 16.5 •e. Anticipated Award Date: 30 October 2017 •f.
