Description

The Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, transportation, and utilities for the production of blue rock basalt. The Contractor shall Weigh, Load, Deliver and Stockpile all requested materials to Firing Point (FP) 427 Staging area. The Contracting Officers Representative (COR) will designate use and procedures of the Governments stockpile area. All work shall be performed in accordance with commercial safety practices, the Contractors Safety Plan, and State, County and Federal Standards. This procurement will be Unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 212319, Other Crushed and Broken Stone Mining and Quarrying with the small business size standard of 500 employees. Product or Service Code is M1PZ. No Solicitation or Request For Proposal (RFP) is currently available. The RFP will be available for download on or about August 30, 2017. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website located at https://www.fbo.gov/. No phone or fax requests for a copy of the solicitation will be accepted. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the RFP and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and/or additional information. Offer Due Date will be on or about October 2, 2017. Actual offer due date will be specified in the solicitation. Award will be made to a responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price and price-related factors included in the solicitation. At the time an offer submits its offer the offeror must be registered within the SAM database in order to receive an award for this procurement.
