RIA Enhanced Use Lease Market and Economic Analysis Sources Sought Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island IL is contemplating a 50-year lease of Army propoerty consisting of a 162 acre 18-hole golf course, 28,317 SF golf clubhouse, and a 23,194 SF historic home. The proposed use is a regional hospitality venue offering a golf course, lodging, and other recreational opportunities. The expectation is the lessee would provide all resources to sustain, maintain, repair and operate the facilities; make all capital improvements; preserve the historic character of the facilities; allow privileged use to Rock Island Arsenal patrons; and/or provide a percetnage of revenue to morale, welfare and recreational programs to support Soldiers and family programs. Rock Island Arsenal is pursuing a market study with economic analysis to determine the feasibility.
