Description

Request for Information Driving efficiency in the GSA owned portfolio is essential to maximizing the return of the Federal Building Fund. Based on the findings of Phase One of the GSA Energy Savings Research Project, awarded to the Carnegie Mellon University, Center for Building Diagnostics and Performance, there is clear value to GSA in gaining a better understanding of how to document, in the appropriate amount of detail, what specific operational and capital projects consist of to be able to make investment decisions based on the highest amount of detail possible to maximize return from the Federal Building Fund. Data gathered in Phase One also made it clear that there is real and measurable value for GSAs building professionals to have an easy way to understand visual indication of building performance to best inform on the ground, day to day operational strategies that maximize building performance furthering the return of the Federal Building Fund. Please see the attached Request for Information document for the specific tasks involved in Phase Two of this requirement and instructions for responding to this RFI.
