PWS and Appendix 1 (beginning on page 26) for washer/dryer contract. Synopsis: Notice of Intent to exercise an extension of service for washer/dryer services at Sheppard Air Force Base (SAFB) for a period of up to six (6) months from 01 October 2017 through 31 March 2018. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one source), SAFB intends to extend its existing contract FA3020-13-D-0001 with Inventory Accounting Service, Inc., 9003 W Lillian Lane, Tolleson, AZ 85353-1807, on a sole source basis for Washer/Dryer services for SAFB, TX. This extension will be a maximum of six (6) months to allow sufficient time to complete the follow on solicitation, issue the resulting award, and permit the necessary phase-in/phase-out transition between incumbent and newly selected contractor. PWS: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and all other items or services necessary for washer and dryer maintenance, repair and leasing and dryer exhaust duct cleaning service as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) at various locations on Sheppard Air Force Base (SAFB), located in Wichita Falls, Texas. Contractor shall be responsible for the delivery, installation, connections/hook up, cleaning, maintenance, repair, removal and relocation of contractor furnished washers and dryers. Washer / dryer locations and types are listed in Appendix 1, Washer / Dryer Requirement by Bldg and Type. Contractor shall schedule and clean permanent dryer exhaust ducts. All services shall be performed in accordance with manufacturers recommended commercial practices and the PWS. PWS and Appendix 1 have been included as attachments to this FBO posting. Any respond to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical, capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs not later than 24 August 2017 at 4:00 PM CST. Detail capabilities must be submitted to 82d Contracting, Attn: SrA Shaun Gann/Darla P. Daily; 206 J Ave; Sheppard AFB, TX 76311. This synopsis is not considering a request for bid/quote/proposal. No solicitation documents are available and telephone request for technical will not be honored. No contract delivery order will be awarded on the basis of offers received in responds to this notice. Offers will be used as a comparable source available for a more advantageous to the Government.
