Display room collection of memorial tribute items conservation performance work statement This sources sought announcement is for information, planning and market research purposes only. It does not constitute a commitment on the Governments part; therefore a contract may not be awarded as a result of this sources sought announcement. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Belvoir (MICC), on behalf of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC), intends to award a new contract with a Base Year of twelve (12) months and four (4) Option Years to procure non-personal services in the form of "conservation of memorial tribute items" services. Specifically, the services will include the safe transportation of artifacts from ANC to the contractors conservation lab, making all necessary stabilization and repairs, and returning the items safely back to the ANC History Office. The Government is seeking responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis from all interested businesses capable of providing similar services. Small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business, etc.) are highly encouraged to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirements at fair market prices. Packages shall be submitted by 12:00PM EST, Friday, 11 August 2017. Only small businesses are to submit capability packages. Interested small business concerns in NAICS code 711510 "Independent Artists, Writers, and Performers Services" with a size standard of $27.5M annual revenue are encouraged to submit their capability packages. The capability packages for this sources sought are not a proposals, but rather statements regarding the companys existing experience in relation to the areas specified above. Capability packages shall not exceed five (5) pages and shall be submitted via e-mail to Heather Nikiforakis, at heather.m.nikiforakis.civ@mail.mil with a courtesy copy (cc) to Daniel M. Quinn, at daniel.m.quinn.civ@mail.mil at no cost to or obligation to the Government. Areas or tasks where a contractor does not have prior experience should be annotated as such.
