SOLICITATION NO: F17PS01148 PROJECT TITLE: Update Buildings at Rapids Lake Maintenance Complex PROJECT LOCATION: Minnesota Valley NWR-Rapids Lake Unit, 15848 Rapids Lake Road,Carver, MN 55315 ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $250,000.and $500,000. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $36.5m. The solicitation package will be available via electronic commerce on fbo.gov and fedconnect.net on or about August 18, 2017 with proposals due on or about September 17, 2017. The Solicitation Package will consist of the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work and Drawings, the Prevailing Wage Determination, and Bid Bond Form. It is the Contractor s responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Bid. PROJECT CONSISTS OF: This work includes, but is not limited to, the following at the South Maintenance Building: On the exterior installing new gas, water and electric service supply lines, and installing two concrete aprons on both ends of the building. On the interior demolition of existing electrical lighting and power systems. Installing wall/attic insulation systems, metal wall/ceiling panels, gas heaters and air circulation fans, new lighting and power supply systems, miscellaneous welding and control systems. SITE VISIT: Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Site visit details will be provided when the full solicitation package is available.
