This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quote(s) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQP0418TF440001 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). PLEASE READ THROUGH ITS ENTIRITY. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94 and 2005-95. Solicitation is a 100 % Service Disabled Veteran Small Business set aside. The NAICS for this requirement is 812210 The PSC code for this requirement is G001 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Terre Haute, Indiana, intends to issue solicitation RFQP0418TF440001 for the requirements of: INMATE BURIAL SERVICES. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Service Disabled Veteran Small Business, FOB Destination, and will be an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed pricing. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single award. The contract period shall consist of the Effective Date of Award through September 30, 2018 and one 12 month option period for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. This will include, but is not limited to the removal of the body, local transportation, embalming and body preparation, clothing, casket, as well as other professional mortuary services of federal inmates who have passed away during their time of incarceration. The contractor must observe and comply with all local, state and federal laws and regulations relating to the embalming, preparation, burial, and shipment of bodies. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, and will be awarded based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) and best value to the Government. LPTA shall be evaluated based on the quoters price and ability to meet the outlined specifications in the scope of work. Best value shall be evaluated by the quoters ability to meet the delivery terms outlined in the scope of work. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation.. The NAICS code for this requirement is 812210 with a small business size standard of $7.5 million. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Also, FAR clause 52.212-4(t) requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in the SAM.GOV database. Quoters should include their DUNS number in their quotes. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 8th, 2017, 5:00p.m. EST. This is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation 1449-Block #8 for the actual date quotations are due.
