The U.S. Forest Service, Northern Research Station, has the need for Architect-Engineer (A/E) services in fiscal year 2018 and requests that interested AEs submit their SF-330s (Parts 1 & 2) to be considered. This is not a request for quotes, this is an opportunity for A/Es to exhibit their desire to be considered and to illuminate their qualifications. Delaware Controlled Temperature Overwintering Facility: estimated construction cost - $460,000 Location: Delaware, OH Synopsis: Remodeling of an underutilized 2-story building to construct a multi-bay, temperature and humidity controlled, cold storage facility needed for overwintering trees for resistance breeding and restoration research. The first story is an underground concrete structure with a concrete ceiling at grade. The second story is stick-built construction. The outside dimensions are 92 x 25. There is water, sewer, gas and electric present. It is anticipated that the entire first story will be demolished and the new overwintering facility be constructed in its place. Project will include demolition and construction, MEP, and a limited amount of site work. The SF-330s can be mailed or emailed.
