DRAFT PWS The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Polk, LA: This is a sole source synopsis published for informational purposes only. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements. This proposed procurement will be a sole source action under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 722310, Food Service Contractors, $38.5M. This proposed action is to issue a short term modification to contract for continuity of Full Food Services supporting the Joint Readiness Training Center at North Fort Polk. The services are for a period of performance from 10 May 2017 to 7 August 2017 (90 days). The proposed source is the Louisiana Workforce Commission, 1001 N 23rd St., Baton Rouge, LA 70802-3338. A determination by the Government not to compete this short performance period is based solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government. Responses are due No Later Than 26 April 04:30 PM CST. Only inquiries/information received by this date and time will be considered. Be advised that all correspondence sent via email shall contain a subject line that reads Full Food Services. Note that email filters at Fort Polk are designed to filter email without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e.,.exe, or.zip files). Therefore, if this subject line is not included, the email may not get through the email filters.
