The Kansas City District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded the task order using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds on contract task order (W912DQ-07-D-0044-0003), for the Remediation of Contaminated Groundwater at the Monitor Devices, Inc./Intercircuits, Inc. Superfund Site, Wall Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey in the amount of $3,000,000.00. In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act (ARRA) of 2009, Pub.L. 11-5; the Government posts this award notice of Cost Plus Fixed-Fee Task Order for Remediation of Contaminated Groundwater at the Monitor Devices, Inc./Intercircuits, Inc. Superfund Site, Wall Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Procurement of a Cost Plus Fixed-Fee Task Order will offer significant flexibility for responding to contaminant conditions that are not well defined at this project. Additionally, the USACE Roebling Steel project team is capable and prepared to provide qualified staff for monitoring contractor performance to mitigate risks and to ensure that all alternatives have been considered.
