Description

Request a US flag or foreign flag RO/RO, LO/LO, or combination RO/RO-LO/LO vessel to lift approximately 68 pieces totaling 19,684 square feet (2,931 short tons). The cargo consists of tracked vehicles (approximately 68 pieces). Vessel is required to have enough lashing points and provide all lashing gear. In accordance with the Cargo Preference Act of 1904 and Section IIIA.3 of the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) (see 69 FEDERAL REGISTER 62898, Nov 7, 2007, or most current reference), preference will be given to U.S. flag vessels and VISA participants.
