The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit for a Mobile Positron Emission Tomography and Computerized Tomography (PET/CT) services for the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, KS located on 5500 Gage E. Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67218. This procurement is being set aside 100 percent for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOB). The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to the Offeror whose quote provides the best value to the Government. Period of performance will be a base year with four (4) one-year options periods. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be available on or after January 25, 2008. The contractor shall furnish a General Electric Discovery ST brand name or equal integrated PET/CT system for the imaging of patients to include a remote viewing workstation to be located within VAMC, enabling physicians??? access to imagining of the mobile unit. The mobile unit shall be housed in 48 foot trailer or equal. The unit price shall include not only the cost of the scan, but also the cost of the radioactive material and all labor needed to perform scans.
