Description

The Forest Service is seeking to obtain professional services to conduct cultural resource inventories, record cultural resources and make eligibility recommendations, and conduct minimal sub-surface testing to establish cultural site boundaries and presence/absence of buried cultural resource materials for Forest timber projects, recreation projects, mining projects, range improvements, prescribed fires, engineering projects, and landscape analysis studies to address impacts to potential and known historic properties as defined in 36 CFR 800.2[e]. The contractor shall provide qualified personnel, services, facilities, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for performance of the work. This solicitation is advertised as a five-year option year contract. Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, March 3, 2008. The solicitation will be available on approximately January 28, 2008, and can be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. You may register at www.ccr.gov.
