NOTICE OF INTENT The United States Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Business Services is contemplating negotiating a modification to an existing contract on a sole source basis with GHE Healthcare, Inc., 5 Brighton Knolls Ct, Brinklow, MD 20862-9711, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253( c)(1), and pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The purpose of this modification is to provide service to additional NNSA employees. The Office of Business Services anticipates that this effort will be available only from the original source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is predicated upon substantial duplication of cost to the Government, which is not expected to be recovered through competition. The DOE???s Office of Human Capital Management Services has a requirement to provide supervisory/management training, employee awareness seminars, consultants, and psychotherapy sessions to employees, which is currently provided under the existing contract. The applicable NAICS code for the proposed acquisition is 621112 with a size standard of $9M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
