The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the United States Penitentiary located in Leavenworth, Kansas. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed output. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided may include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option are as follows: Inpatient Days - 38 days (Estimated); Outpatient Visits - 200 visits (Estimated). Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made on or about January 8, 2008 and will be solely distributed through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is March 6, 2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
