Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, 96th Contracting Squadron (Eglin AFB), 96th Contracting Squadron, 205 West D Ave., Suite 541, Eglin AFB, Florida, 32542-6862
The following questions and answers are provided for clarification. 1. Should we cost the Tri-Pod, or is it assumed to be Government Furnished? The tri-pod is government furnished. The product offered must have an industry standard tripod mounting thread. 2. Should we cost the PC data acquisition system (hardware), or just provide the required interface software for loading on a Government-furnished PC? This requirement is only for the software. The government will provide the PC. 3. Will the Air Force consider a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract or strictly Firm Fixed Price (FFP)? Since this purchase order is being acquired using commercial procedures, the Government will not consider CPFF in accordance with FAR 12.207(a).
